My Approach
I'm a firm believer that therapy works best when it doesn't feel like you're performing for someone or trying to say all the "right" things. I'm here to create a space where you can be your true self—whether that means processing heavy stuff, figuring out why you keep doing that thing you swore you'd stop doing, or just trying to make sense of life when it feels like too much.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, and EFT. I also use an IFS-informed lens and incorporate concepts from Polyvagal Theory, somatic approaches, and mindfulness-based practices.
What’s more…
Everyone's path looks different—there's really no one-size-fits-all therapy, and you're not here to be "fixed." I work with neurodivergent individuals and provide gender-affirming care. As someone who grew up in Taiwan, I also offer therapy in Mandarin (or Chinglish) if you prefer and understand the complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities.
I'll bring genuine care, a holistic perspective, and yes, even some humor when the moment calls for it (because sometimes we need to laugh at the absurdity of it all)! I also bring cultural humility to our work—your background, identity, and story matter, and I'm here to honor all of it.
