Clinician
Jessica Beckmann (she/they), LMHCA
Currently open to new clients/telehealth only.
The goal of therapy with me is to provide you a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore life's experiences and begin creating meaningful change by learning to better understand your emotions, improve relationships, and explore patterns that show up in your life while also building coping skills that work for your life. I believe therapy works best when it’s built on empathy, trust, and mutual respect. I love working with people from rural communities, LGBTQ+ individuals, teens, quirky individuals, "nerds", and those navigating new stages and phases of their life.
My Approach
My approach is collaborative and eclectic. I support and respect each individuals journey in life as we all experience life differently. I work well and really enjoy working with teens and adults who are looking to work through trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, finding their identity and chronic illness.
I draw from different therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art-assisted Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
I believe that you know yourself best, and my role is to support you as we make sense of what you’re going through and figure out what changes might feel meaningful for you!
